I'm really upset right now, cuz I was suppose to go to Mississippi last night on a missions trip but I got really sick Friday morning. I hate it, I'm feeling alot better now, still a little weak, but a whole lot better. I'm sure I caught something from my work. I work at a day care center, and parents bring their kids in sick all of the time. They give them medicine to hide their temp, and there is nothing else we can do. I was looking foward to this trip and helping the people who had been hit by hurrican katrina. Why did I have to get sick the day I was suppose to leave. People are saying maybe its a blessing in disguise. On Thursday I wasn't having the best feeling about traveling there and home. I just had an uneasy feeling. Oh well, nothing else I can do about it. At least my boss is being really nice about it. I called in sick on Friday and she said that if I didn't go on the trip and I was feeling better by Sunday, I could come into work next week. I thought that was really nice of her, cuz I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to go to work, and I would lose a weeks pay.

There will be more missions trips in the future, now I have Passion to look foward to...I can't wait til January. It's going to be awesome!!!

WHITE SOX WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!

if you didnt know this about me already, now you do...I'm a big white sox fan. A little more info: my favorite players are - Joe Crede, Scott Podsednik, and Paul Konerko.  I'm so happy that they won. Last night was so much fun. I went downtown for the night. We first went to The United Center to watch the game, that was fun. There was about 4,000 people there, and the place just went crazy after they won. The atmosphere was great. And all the money that they made went to charities, which is awesome!

It's been a really long time since I've been on here. Things have been crazy in my life lately, alot of things happening.....some good, great, and bad things. I feel like God is putting alot of challenging things in my life right now.....and all I can do is trust in Him, and that things will work out. I'm not sure how yet, but there is where the trusting in Him comes into play. God says:

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~Jer. 29:11

If you are in a tough spot in life, just look to the Lord and seek Him out. Pray and trust in Him...He will not forsake you or lead you astray. I know these are things I'm having to remind myself these days.

On Saturday, August 20th I am planning on having a Luau. As some of you know, I had one last year, and its going to be just as fun (hopefully) ...Anyways, It's at my house and its going to start at 1 -2:00. I wanted to make it early enough so people could go swimming if they like, and it will go til whenever. If people stay late enough, we can also do a little bonfire. Feel free to dress hawaiian! And I was also wondering if some people could bring a side dish or something to pass around and to serve with some other food that I will be providing....thanks...
